To each and every: It’s not just the virtual bouquets I’d toss. I’d shine a small Flood on what live theater means to our lives. And to the kaleidoscopic range — from vaudeville to Shakespeare, from the musical song book to original plays, themed and ambiguous, to the pauses buzzing with tension. In writing this I don’t want to co-opt the space, but to voice what every community world-over where theater in any voice may still be presented, Here’s to the hush that precedes, to the grave silence or torrent of applause that follows, to the exhilating aisle before we exit to the real world. The little play may be done, but the resonance remains.
Salud.
Nice to see Mia is doing so well!
